I have a first gen Kindle which can't handle anything other than mobi's and txt's XD;; (and jpgs! :> I could potentially read manga on that thing, haha). I'm not sure how well current generation Kindles can handle pdfs because if they can't do proper text reflow, then there's still the issue of teeny text.
